STEP 1

INSPECT

Prior to commencing any work on the vehicle, a detailed report is completed which outlines pre-existing damage, areas of concern, and any other visible yet noteworthy areas.

An extensive array of photos are taken during this and all processes, which thoroughly documents the entire procedure. This acts as a method of reflection for future uses, and provides the client a unique insight to how we perform the work we do.

This particular vehicle had several areas of concern including lifting PPF (paint protection film), factory sanding marks, and DA sanding marks/rotary polishing holograms on the carbon fiber hood section.

STEP 2

CLEANSE

All areas which will be corrected must undergo a strict decontamination procedure which removes impurities from the surface - such as environmental fallout, embedded brake dust, tar, sap, and other forms of contamination that would otherwise affect the paint correction process.

We utilize two unique, pH-neutral and acid-free chemicals to strip away the majority of the contaminants first prior to utilizing a clay bar and clay lubricant to ensure nothing was left behind.

This is all preceded by a thorough 3-bucket hand wash using CarPro Reset shampoo along with our Microfiber Madness Incredimitt wash mitts, and Grit Guard's in each wash bucket to ensure maximum safety of all surfaces.

Wheels were also removed from the vehicle, and the full wheels, calipers, and wheel arches underwent an extensive decon process to prepare them for ceramic protection.

STEP 3

CORRECT

80% of the results are in the prep work.

This is common for many industries, and detailing is no exception. As part of our CQuartz Finest Reserve service, this ZL1 underwent out Tier 2 Paint Correction, which effectively removed 95% of all existing defects including:

swirls/scratches/sanding marks/rotary holograms

This key processes leaves a rich, glossy finish with incredible depth and clarity. It truly reveals a finish like you've never seen before - and it is this exact process and the results we produce that has given us the reputation for being the areas leading paint correction specialists.

STEP 4

REFINE

The small details that matter

After the paintwork is corrected, we move onto the smaller - yet equally important areas of the vehicle for further refinement.

In the case of this vehicle, there were many tight corners and small, challenging areas that were refined with small 0.5" and 1" polishing pads and tools.

It may be a bit OCD, but we believe that when you combine all of these small details together, it truly makes an incredible difference in the end result - and we are more than proud to take the time to perform this tedious work.

Finest Reserve was applied to all paintwork, PPF film, full wheels, and calipers.
